“This vet clinic is unethical and unprofessional. My dog tore his ACL and I first called this clinic on July 21st to speak to Dr. Frank Metzler about Tightrope surgery after being referred to him from a dear friend. I sent my dogs records on Monday, July 24th and called again that day to be told I would get a return call that Tues or Wed from Dr. Metzler. I never got a call back and started calling/emailing daily to speak with him because my dog was sitting here in pain with a torn ACL needing surgery and nobody was calling me back. I finally spoke to someone (a tech) at the clinic today Aug 1 (3 days shy of 2 weeks since I first contacted this clinic) to be told my dog is not a good candidate for Tightrope. This is unethical and unprofessional to know that a dog is needing time sensitive surgery for an injury that causes much pain and to ignore the owners calls and emails. I know Dr. Metzler was getting all of my messages because I was reassured every day when I called and emailed that they were putting all of my messages in front of Dr. Metzler. I never spoke to this "highly regarded" veterinarian because I guess he was too busy and could not be bothered to spend 5 minutes on the phone with me explaining the procedure and why my dog isn't a good candidate for it. My dog could have already had TPLO surgery and be in recovery from it now but instead I am starting at square one. Shame on this vet and his clinic for dismissing an injured dog and his owner. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT RECOMMEND”
