“**Please read this before going** I've been wanting to write a review for Allure De Vie for a while, I don't like to leave negative reviews because I know it affects businesses but I also think customers deserve to know what they're getting before paying for a service. Let me start off by saying that I've purchased 2 packages from this salon with 6 laser sessions each. I've done a total of 11 laser session. The procedure is not pain free like most places like to advertise, it hurts a little but to me it’s always been tolerable. If you're getting laser hair removal on large areas most salons divide these areas into sections with a white pencil and focus on each individual section, Allure De Vie does not do this. I've been with three different laser technicians at Allure De Vie and they all did it a different way which makes me question if they were really trained on this machine or not. They use a Soprano XL machine for laser, though it is a good machine that's very expensive like the owner likes to mention, there are other more advanced laser machines out there, please do your research on the types of laser machines before going to any salon and make sure that it'll work on your specific skin tone and hair color. I still have about 80% of the body hair I was trying to get rid of, this is after 11 sessions. I truly believe it’s because of how the laser technicians are trained on the machines and because of improper maintenance of the Soprano XL machine. I would also like to talk about customer service at this salon. This salon has canceled two appointments on me. The first time was because they had to get a replacement part on their machine. The second time was because one of their employees couldn’t make it in, it takes me about an hour tog get to the salon so I left at 8am for my 9am appointment. The owner calls me at 8:32 to cancel the appointment. I was halfway there. Not only did I waste money on getting two Uber rides but I wasted almost two hours of my time. The owner called me and told me they had left me a voicemail the day prior, the only voicemail I received was one to confirm my 9am appointment with them. She knew a day before that the laser technician wasn’t going to be able to make it and she called me 30 minutes prior to my appointment to let me know. This is extremely unprofessional especially coming from the owner of Allure De Vie. The owner told me she would call me back that day to try and figure out when she could get me in for an appointment. She never never called back. I tried to contact the salon several times to try and get a refund. The manager finally called me back SIX DAYS LATER! She practically told me I was overreacting and tried to justify her actions for canceling on me 30 minutes prior to an appointment. As an owner and manager she should know better! It’s unbelievable that the owner of this business acts the way she does. After yelling at each other for about 15 minutes she decided to give me an extra laser session for free. I would’t go back to this salon even if I got 6 sessions for free. It’s so bad I’m not even going to go in for my last session. Remember that you always get what you pay for, pay a little more and go somewhere else. I have wasted way too much time at this salon and gotten very little results. Once again, please don’t forget to do your research on each salon and don’t be afraid to ask questions before going. I wish I would have done that but I will not commit the same mistake again. “The worst spa that I've ever seen, the laser specialist has no experience at all, she did a face and Brazilian in less than 5 minutes, she didn't divide my face or my Brazilian into parts, she did the face and the Brazilian as one part, no sterilization, I did laser hair removal in other clinics and I worked as laser specialist, so I do know what should and shouldn't been done , she did a wrong technique and when I asked here she said that this is a different laser device,but it wasn't. it Was the same one that I used to work on, really I don't recommend anyone to do laser in that spa, by the way I changed where I take my sessions cause my specialist is on vacation so I had to do it in another spa or clinic. and other thing, they said I should book an appointment through E-mail cause no appointments are booked by phone, I did book an appointment through E-mail and they said the appointment should be confirmed by them, I waited for a confirmation and no one sent an E-mail and I called and they said they will confirm and no one called as well!! and I had already paid, so my point they make you call and call and send Email with no response beside that the wrong laser technique, so please make sure that she uses the right technique cause that's your face and your body and over all your money so I really don't recommend that spa.”

“Don't waste your time of money here. Horrible customer service. The salon takes forever to call you back and make appointments. Not a clean facility either. Manager is extremely unprofessional. She screens the calls and knows who is calling and ignores you. Had a dispute over at $400 charge for over 2 months and she kept telling me she would refund me. Kept claiming she would and never did. Took it up with the credit card company and they are figuring it out for me. The manager kept telling me not worry and she would handle it and now 2 months later I am taking care of it my self.”

“Very unprofessional way of setting up appointments! I have tried to set up an appointment for the past couple months. I would give up, but i got a gift certificate that i would like to use. I was finally able to get a hold of a human being and set up an appointment, then 1 hour later i got a call that they could not accommodate me. i read a review that they seem to screen calls.. i am starting to believe that. I have sent 2 emails and left several voice messages. I have not heard back. I would like a refund.”
