“I had used this company before and was satisfied so I again called them to replace some light fixtures. The tech was timely. The first thing he did was to check my electrical box. He declared that due to the age I needed it replaced as I was at risk for a fire. He gave me a quote for replacing the electrical box and changing out the two light fixtures. The estimate was over $5000. I wanted another opinion. I had two different companies assess the electrical box. As it turns out there are only two models that have issues-Zinsco & Federal Pacific. My unit is a GE. I also asked what the cost would be if I did need a replacement and was told that it would be less than $1500. My sister-in-law just had one replaced in a 1900 home that still had the old fuses-cost under $1100.”
