“Do NOT use this company. 1 - We were hoodwinked into thinking the crew would have an English-speaking crew member capable of reading plans. They tried to install a smaller sized gate than contracted. They also didn't use concrete in some holes, as confirmed later by Bowden's foreman, and they cut our internet cable, ignoring carefully marked utility lines. 2 - We were transparent with our prerequisite to lower planks flush to the ground without touching to prohibit our small dogs from burrowing and also to prevent rabbits from breaching the property. The crew ignored that. The crew also left a massive mess beyond the typical dirt piles outlined in their contract. A solidified large pile of concrete, rocks, gravel, and trash was left in our yard. The areas are not salvageable in hopes the old grass will grow back. We have to hire someone to reseed. 3 - They rushed off to take an 'under-the-table cash' job with our neighbor to fix their gates and fence planks. They used materials from MY job to do so. We settled for the installation of stringers at the bottom of our fence line as a band-aid. They also reset several posts and replaced 40 improperly installed planks that were split or damaged during the original installation. I contacted Cassi after we surveyed the repair job. One plank was not secure and one 4x4 post was way out of alignment, creating a bowed fence line. She stated they were done. My husband lost work because of the cut cable, and my son, who attends college online, had to take a penalty grade for his chemistry exam since they cut the cable line during the middle of the exam. The repair job team was professional and competent; however, the arrogance of Cassi and her non-English speaking crew is irreprehensible. This company was not cheap and was the 2nd most expensive quote we received. This wasn’t a case of ‘you get what you pay for.’ The highlight was a friendly, knowledgeable salesman and a conscientious, detail-orientated, professional repair crew. The most critical part – fence installation – was this company's #1 worst attribute, hence the recommendation to seek a better company to procure.”
