Established in 1997 After working along side his father, who was also a bench jeweler, and then for years apprenticing under some other very talented craftsmen, Calvin Smith decided to take his trade to the next level and open his own store. Calvin's Fine Jewelry opened its doors in 1997 on Far West Boulevard in a quiet neighborhood in Austin. The past 12 years have been a wonderful growing and learning experience both as an owner and craftsman. Now, with over 30 years under his belt, Calvin is still enjoying the everyday challenges this exciting trade has to offer.
