Custom Hardwood Flooring Refinishing Installation Reviews

“It is rare that you get to work with hardwood flooring companies that are professional and considerate of other crafts that works on the same project. CHF was such a pleasure to work with. We did a painting project that they were the ones who installed the wood flooring and they needed to stain and refinish it as well. With work schedules overlapping and deadlines closing in they worked and coordinated with us in such a manner that we don't normally see with other contractors. They were polite, professional and considerate. After the wood flooring installed we did our painting when we were done with that they came in and was ever so careful to not mess up with our paint job especially on the base boards. We didn't even have to do any re-touch which is always almost the case with all the other flooring companies we have dealt with. They did a very good job with the stain and refinishing of the floor. Turned out to be beautiful and our client was very happy. Will be looking forward to working with them again.”

“Uri and his team refinished my floors. The floors have definitely seen better days and the team did a great job bringing the floor back to life. Communication with Uri was 10/10 and a big reason why I entrusted him with my floors vs other companies. 10/25/24 UPDATE: tore out some built in cabinets in a closet and found some more hardwood that needed refinishing to match the rest of the house that was refinished. Could only buy a gallon online which was overkill for the 4 sq feet that needed refinishing. Reached out to Uri to see if he had any leftover finish and he was there the next day to drop some off! Really appreciate how much he goes above and beyond for his clients!!”

“The best wood flooring company so far that we had worked with. We had them installed hardwood floors throughout the house and it was done very professionally and with much attention to details. The wood staining of the floor was also very impressive and Uri was very patient with us during the decision making process. They put in stain samples on the floor and worked with for me and my husband to come up with exactly the color we wanted for the floor. I can get very picky but they were patient and caring. Needless to say we are very happy with the results.”

“Yuri and Yoni were two of the kindest and most competent people with whom I have ever worked. They were punctual. They communicated clearly and honestly. They were reliable. They were also really funny! Their work was incredible and done at a fair price. I would use them again and again and again and really look forward to doing so. Look no further; your (passionate about floors) Father Son team are right in front of your eyes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??”

“I have hired Uri Vaknin at Custom Hardwood Flooring three times for various properties - one was for my own house - a 1926 Spanish style with Original Brazilian Mahogany Floors which he did beautifully. The latest (2022) was for another 1928 House that I had just bought and he refinished all the floors and they look fantastic. I would always use him and his company anytime I needed floors refinished......plus he's a really nice guy!”

“Uri and team are excellent. Hired them to install hardwood in our '82 vintage condo, replacing carpet. From the beginning they had a real attention to detail that matters if you want level, creak-free, high-quality floor. (We eventually replaced all the plywood underneath due to rusty nails!) Finished the project on time and on budget. Would recommend them to anyone and would hire them again.”

“Hired Custom Hard Flooring for our wood floor that needs refinishing. Also they did the installation of the hardwood in our bedrooms. We were really impressed by how efficient and reliable they are. The crew were respectful and knows what they're doing. Very responsive and we definitely got what we paid for. Highly recommended and was a pleasure to work with them.”

“Yuri and Yoni we are so grateful for the outstanding job you did on refinishing our floors. Honestly I think they look better than when we put them in 30 years ago. I've already thanked (profusely) the friend who recommended you and will gladly refer others to you in the future. Continued success.”
