Fat Freddy's Catering Reviews

“I recently had a party at my home for 70 guests!! Below is the email I sent to the Catering Coordinator, Darci Hawthorne. The whole event was wonderful...from planning with Darci to the actual event and the service. Food was amazing!! We will definitely use them again for future parties!! Hello!! Just wanted to let you know how wonderful everything was on Saturday. Your employees are amazing!! Jessica, Nico, Greg and Kevin...I can't say enough good things about them. From the moment they got here, they went to work to make my birthday celebration just the best!! The table arrangements were beautiful. The food was amazing!! All of my guests just went on and on about how not only was the food incredible, the service was also!!! I can't thank you enough for all your help in planning. You made planning a very large party...very easy for me. I will be recommending Fat Freddys to anyone who needs a great caterer!!! Thank you, Tracey Houtman”

“I have been using Fat Freddy's Catering for years and they have never let me down. Whether I need food for the next day or for our annual holiday party, they have always delivered with precision. I never have to worry about them, it's the other vendors I have to stress about. :D”

“I’m hoping their food is better than their customer service. I submitted an inquiry for a 50th birthday celebration in September. Unfortunately, the customer service via email and phone was very poor - despite their website having statements like “We Love
To Help” and “Please, do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns,” my experience has been negative and unprofessional, to say the least. Kandyce Haskins, Catering Coordinator, replied to my original online I quirky with “ Our minimum is 15 Thank you” with no additional context or information. Giving her the benefit of the doubt (perhaps the email sent before finishing it), I decided to call the office and Kandyce picked up the phone. I mentioned that I had received her reply with no additional context and their 15 people minimum was OK with me. She reiterated their person minimum and nothing else. I proceeded to ask if that meant that they were available for a 15 people event for the date and time specified. She said that it depended on the items I selected and then she stopped - again no additional context. I asked what did it depend on and she expanded on her response but was very short on the phone. This made me question many things on their website. Are the reviews fake? Did they change ownership? Although my current need is for 15 people, sometimes building a strong business and reputation starts with some of this small interactions. I work for an organization that has 7,000 employees we sometimes look at companies in the valley to support local businesses. Some of the vendors that are recommended are through very positive experiences that some of the employees have.”
