“I've been living in Los Angeles for just over 20 years. I moved here from Philadelphia and after living there through half of my childhood and college, I like to think I know a little something about cheesesteaks. Let's face it, Philly people are basically cheesesteak snobs. :) After trying all of the Philly cheesesteaks in this town, I can honestly say that Figueroa Philly makes my favorite, and quite frankly, the best REAL Philly cheesesteak in Los Angeles. The tastiest marinated rib eye, real Amoroso's rolls; this is real Philly flavor. I'm usually an American cheese, NO onions guy. I spent a number of years searching for the right Philly cheesesteak in L.A., and I found it here. The staff? You won't find a better, more friendly group ANYWHERE. They're awesome. There are a TON of restaurants in L.A., and I can honestly say I've never met a group of more down to earth, friendly people. And the service is timely - but let's face it, sometimes it takes a few extra minutes because, hey, lunch can be busy - just the way it should be. I've never had a bad meal here. And now, they have TastyCakes. Seriously, if you're looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak, Figueroa Philly is your place. Oh, and ask them about some of the "off menu" items. Tell 'em Neil sent ya! :)”

“Being a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams in Los Angeles; I take anything with the Philly name as sacred. I first went to this location years ago; before they opened up the location that is now adjacent to them. Even back then I came away impressed with the customer service. Mario who is still with the company is one of the best persons when it comes down to customer service. The quality of food is beyond good. You won't ever leave this place complaining about portions. The new staff is all friendly. Management team in Griselda and Danny are not only friendly but will talk to you about just any topic that comes to your head. Kenneth the cook was a real cool person to talk too when it came down to sports. This place is the closest thing to Philly that we have in Los Angeles. It is no wonder that they constantly have celebrities visit them.”

“Figuero Philly brings the world famous cheesesteaks of Philadelphia to Los Angeles. The quality of the meat and bread is superior over any other sandwich in the world. I love going their before a USC football game to fuel up on a cheesesteak, fries, and a coke. I would also suggest you try the pastrami sandwich and others food items that they have. In addition, their customer service is great. The staff is very nice and they keep the place clean. Their owner Danny is a funny guy and he is very welcoming to talk to. He makes sure that everyone is getting quality service. I highly recommend Figuero Philly.”
