Gundlach's Service Reviews

“We use Gundlach's for all of our plumbing and AC needs because they are the best. Last year, they replaced our AC, and this year we needed the ductwork done. From start to finish, it was a positive experience. Brent explained everything thoroughly and Marty, the project manager, was very responsive. when we were still having issues getting air to one of the back bedrooms (our house is older). They came back twice and Steve even added a new vent for us to to ensure that we have excellent airflow. Our house is incredibly cool in all of our rooms now, and with the sealing, we are losing less air, which will help us save on our bills. We all know how important that is with the Bakersfield heat. Gundlach's is professional, skilled, and above all, attentive to customer needs. We really appreciate their attention to detail and their friendly and courteous service. I cannot recommend them enough. Do not hesitate to call them for any of your AC or plumbing needs.”

“William Flores came to my house today to fix our ac, he came to a very chaotic situation as we were frustrated that the ac was leaking and the night call center had gave us the run around all night long and we had company from out of state and the house was very loud with lots of people, he was so respectful of the situation, he was super knowledgeable, honest, very soft spoken, he explained everything to us, showed us pics of the problem, worked in a timely manner, my mom has lung cancer and William inspected the attic to make sure there was no mold or wet insulation while up in the attic, we appreciate that he did that as my mom can’t be breathing anything bad, I can’t say enough good things about him and his professionalism, I will be requesting William for all of our future services and for any other problems that may arise, Williams deserves a huge pat on the back!!! Rick and Tawnya Thompson”

“Our air conditioner went our yesterday about 3:00 on a Sunday. Called the 24- hr. line and was able to obtain a 8-12 appointment this morning (Monday). Joshua L. was our technician. He called and texted that he was on his way a few minutes after 8:00 this morning. He was able to get us back up and running by thoroughly investigating a problem which was kind of a bug hunt. We are so grateful to Josh for his professionalism, attention to detail and being able to get us back up and running! This is not the week to be in Bakersfield without your air conditioning! We were also made aware of a duct work issue that we will need to take care of. Being members of Gundlach's Comfort Club has paid off for us more than once.”

“I called on 4/12/24 after 3:30pm and Anthony G. was dispatched on 4/13 in the AM. He was on time, replaced seal on leaking toilet. He was very capable, courteous, and informative. I give him 5 stars! on 4/15/24 Robert was dispatched for my scheduled work on cooler and heating unit that is under the "Gundlach's Comfort Club" service (worth every penny). He arrived on time, completed all work in a timely manner, very pleasant and courteous and made sure all work was completed satisfactorily. He gets 5 stars also! I have used Gundlach's for many years and found them to be reliable, stand behind their work...very uncommon in this day and age.”

“I have used Gundlach's for my home, so when I had a water leak at my office I thought I should definitely give them a call. Henry came out promptly and was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! I was so worried and already bummed after having another company out to try and help us, but it was so different when Henry came out. I instantly felt like the situation was manageable and that I was going to get an honest evaluation of my situation and any applicable solutions, whether it involved Gundlach's or not. If you ever have a stressful situation that you need help or guidance with - call Gundlach's! Thank you again, Henry!”

“Our air conditioner went out on a late, Sunday afternoon. Called Gundlach’s 24-hour service and was able to set up an appt. for the next day between 8-12. Joshua L. was our service technician and arrived a bit after 8;00. He was able to follow a bug hunt of a problem and get us back to cooling within the half hour. We appreciated his prompt response, professionalism and his attention to detail. August in Bakersfield is no time to have your air go out. We are also members of Gundlach’s Comfort Club and it has paid for itself many times over with an older home. Thank you, Josh!”

“So very happy we are apart of Gundlach's Comfort Club. Our air recently went out on a Sunday and Gundlach's had someone here the next morning for service and ultimately a new unit. Henry, walked us through the cost, options, pros and cons. I love that they send updates regarding appointments and when someone is headed to our home. They also attach a picture of the person coming out. Could not be happier with our new unit and the install by Bruce and Oscar. They did a fantastic job!”

“We recently had to have a unit put on our home after 16+ years . We had them come out for a service and found out it was leaking carbon monoxide into our home they stopped immediately and told us what they found. Within 4 days they brought out a new unit and redid ducts to accommodate unit. Our bill went from over $1000.00 a month to $500.00. What a big difference. Gunlachs is highly recommended!!! They are professional and a great company to service all your needs.”

“It is really great to see a young person with very good work habit ethics as Alex has and did. When I first spoke to him when he was finished with my neighbors AC unit he explained the program and handed me the company program and told me to look it over and if I want the program just call the number for an appointment. Thank you very much.”

“Gundlachs has become my go to for plumbing and AC. They work their hardest to find solutions, and I never feel like I'm being treated unfairly. I recently had a "simple clog" turn into a nightmare, and Anthony Gonzalez was there to save the day. He stayed late and tried everything until the job was done, and I could flush again in peace.”

“I don’t think leaving a single 5-Star review is sufficient to express my regards of Gundlach’s. From their degree of the girls’ professional conduct, to the way the technicians handle the work and present themselves. This is by far, the best service company I’ve dealt with since 2014 that I’ve been a homeowner in Bakersfield. Thank you.”

“I called Gundlach’s to service my heating units and to look into an issue with a rattling I was hearing when my heat came on. They were very professional from the appointment process, to the tech (Robert) coming out on time and addressing the issues I had in a personable and professional manner. I would definitely recommend!”

“Replaced our AC/heater unit when it went out in the heat of Summer 2021. Enjoyed the complementary service for a year. Realized time passed by faster than I thought… just signed up for the service plan. Set me up an appointment very quickly. Great service technicians that I have the pleasure to meet. Highly recommended”

“Both technicians Marty &Eddie were very thorough and knowledgeable about how to explain how things were going to be installed. We had the AC unit installed and new duct work done.A big thank you to all the staff who helped! We are very satisfied with the work done and will definitely refer this company to others.”

“I tried Gundlach's for the fist time to do my AC service. They gave me an appt right away and their tech Robert did an excellent job. He was very polite and cleaned up when he was done. He also had a tiny camera to show me that my evap coils are getting dirty. Now I know that I need to use better filters!”

“Kaleb was prompt, did good work and he kept us informed of what he was going to do. We had an issue with our kitchen sink faucet. He ended up having to replace it. If we have a plumbing issue in the future we will contact Gundlach's and ask for Kaleb.”

“Technician ALEXANDER ELKINS was very thorough explaining the service charges before doing any service. He then inspected my heater and did the necessary maintenance. Upon completion he explained Gundlach’s Comfort Club . Very professional young man.”
