“Byuers beware"YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF IF YOU DONT DO THE RESEARCH" We recently bought some silver utensils from them and unfortunately we did not do any market research before. Silver price on that day was 70 cents per gram and the sales person kind of quoted $5 per gram quoting making charges and all. As it was related to the stuff for my kid, we kind of settled in for $3 per gram. The fun part is the sales person kind of started bargaining in a typical manner like " you tell me how much you can give". I am not great at bargaining so kind of settled for $3 per gram and paid $909 in total. Now after coming home, i went and started doing some online search for the items i bought. Unfortunately, it happened to me REGAL JEWELLERS CHICAGO have charged me almost double the price what I could have bought online or from another store. Same item and weight with higher silver purity comes around $500 whereas these folks took $900 from me. Now the worst part, gave a call the other morning and the resolution is none. All item sales are final and nothing can be done. Their justification " we do make sales in the above price so if you did not like we are sorry. We are a shop of 40 yrs and we do sale a lot of silver here" The person was offering me a 10 gram silver coin ($10) for the over price i paid which is almost $450 more. What a joke! Obviously I did not accept it and had to hung up the phone. In summary, please do some research and online browsing before you go there else be ready to engage in a fish market bargaining. If you dont do either, be ready to pay 3 times the actual price. Thankfully, we didny buy gold here but chose JoyAlukas across the street where you not only be treated professionally but the margin of overprice is minimal. Beaware of Regal Jewellers if you plan to do shopping here.”
