“I went to The Starving Actor when I was in Downtown L.A. because I heard they had an amazing sweet potato cheesecake. Yes they do! It was delicious. Before I indulged in dessert I had a meal as well. I had their sautéed shrimp plate with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The shrimp were juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of cajun spices. The sautéed broccoli was the best tasting broccoli I have ever had hands down. The walls are filled with portraits of great actors and actresses. It gives the place a cool vibe. There is parking in the building and across the street and the staff is super friendly. Great meal, great experience, I will definitely be back soon to try one of their funnel cakes!”
