VCA Briargate Veterinary Clinic Reviews

“Been with Briargate Vet since they opened decades ago! Left many reviews but this time I have to give credit to the front desk!!!!! Susan, Meg and Jeremy are so kind, so helpful and just an absolute pleasure to work with! ! No matter the reason you need to come in they are right there to help! Their compassion and understanding is beyond amazing!!!”

“This place is inconsistent. they seem to sneak extra services your dog doesn't need to increase billing. I have a perfect example of this. I have a dog that has broken a toe twice. The first time we dealt with the toe it was 6 weeks in a splint/cast - with x-rays at time of diagnosis and at the end of the 6 week period to make sure it was completely healed. This second time we have been charged an extra 300$ for x-rays at 4 weeks. so now we have had x-rays at week 1, 4, and now 6. Why is it different this time? Inexperience? I've asked 4 different vets and they say week 4 was completely unnecessary unless the dog was showing possible signs of infection. I would like to note that I had two different vets at this VCA, and only one overcharged me. There is a particular doctor there that has never done my family wrong, overcharged us, or provided unnecessary expenses and care for my animals. Dr. Rothstein - he is probably the best vet I've ever had. I hope that man never retires or I will be looking for alternative veterinary care. It was difficult to rate VCA Briargate with only 2 stars. I do think there are people here who are genuine and want to provide quality services to people who own pets. Just be careful who you see at this location.”
