Golden Gate Funeral Home Reviews

“I heard a lot of bad things about Golden Gate. Per my aunt request, I had the pleasure of using their services. From The time I walked through the doors. I felt VIP. I was passed to Jordan. He was very professional, my family was not pressured into buying unnecessary items and he was patient. The services were beautiful. GG start/stop on time.. Every time I went to drop off/pick up something. When Jordan saw me.. he would stop, pause.. are you good? What do you need? Today, I had the pleasure of speaking to Christina English.. she was very professional, well spoken & a woman of her word. I gathered info, called back but Ms. English but wasn’t available. Close to 9:00 PM, I receive a call from Christina, still at work. GG is a black owned business. 10 hours later, Christina had the same professional tone, great sense of humor and vibrant. Most important, her demeanor never changed. Dealing with people is a struggle, Christina was still happy, returning calls 12 hours later. Christina is definitely a keeper.”

“Incredible service. Best funeral home in the city”

“I have been involved with planning family members' funerals in the past at Golden Gate without any issues, but this last experience was horrible. The direct cremation experience at the Dallas location was horrible!! My parent passed away right before Christmas 2020 and I did not get cremains until February 2021. I called numerous times and left messages. I was never called back. Finally had to drive there to find out what was going on. Never again will I use them or recommend them.”
