“We've been in our house about a month now, and it's still unbelievable that this is OUR HOME! We are first-time home buyers, and I could not be more grateful for Russell and everything he did to get us to this point. From the very first phone call I had with Russell, the time and care he offers his clients was already so apparent (I wasn't even an official client yet, and he still spent nearly 2 hours on this initial call getting to know our wants/needs, answering all of my questions, and explaining what we should expect in this process. At this point, he also took the initiative to start viewing houses with us in mind). His involvement from the get-go is what led us to work with him; it felt clear that his expertise, support, and style were the right match for our needs. With our move being across the country, we were having to conduct our home search and buying remotely. Russell made this as effective and as smooth as possible! He drove to the properties that we were interested in, took video tours of each home, included detailed commentary in each video, and sent the virtual walk-throughs for us to review. His comprehensive effort gave us a lot of confidence and reassurance in what could--or should--have been a stressful process. Ultimately, this is how we found our home and knew it was right for us all before being able to even visit in person! Overall, I could not be more pleased that we worked with Russell. He is knowledgeable, informative, supportive, honest, optimistic, generous, and extremely hard working; I cannot say enough good things about him! He takes an overwhelming process and turns it into a positive experience with his leadership and his passion for helping people find their homes. Lastly, I also have to applaud the professional relationships that Russell maintains. We used one of the loan originators and one of the inspectors that he recommended, and those were positive experiences as well. The trust we had in Russell allowed us to feel confident in his recommendations; Cory and Don were also kind, professional, and efficient. The care that we experienced with Russell extended to the people in his network, and it is a testament to Russell's character.”

“I have never had a better experience finding multiple homes than I did with Uptown Realty. The first interaction I had was remote, and during the beginning of the pandemic. I moved from Idaho to Texas and had no way of visiting before my move, and the folks at UR, specifically Joe and Max, were so helpful and responsive with my needs and questions. They answered every question I had in a timely manner, sent me pictures, and even a video tour of the apartment. They made me feel so comfortable that I signed a lease and paid a deposit having never seen the apartment, I trusted that they were kind and helpful people, and the rental was exactly what I was looking for. I had been in that unit for about 6 months when I found out I was expecting a baby and needed to upgrade to a larger home. I was so nervous about reaching out about transferring to a larger space, but Joseph immediately made it clear that he wanted to help, and that it was not a problem. He helped my growing family find the perfect new home and really made the transition from the apartment to the house very smooth. “I have worked with real estate agents prior and I never felt the need to leave a review. However, my experience with Max Smirnoff in particular exceeded my expectations, enough to want me to leave a review. Max Smirnoff is probably the MOST responsive agent, or even person, I have corresponded with. He sends sufficiently detailed responses yet they are also succinct/to the point at the same time. He is not only knowledgeable about real estate, but he is extremely efficient and I feel like I can count on him to deliver. I don't have to worry about getting things done in time or if he will respond because he just does things so efficiently. I honestly feel that Max was so crucial in streamlining the whole finding an apartment process. All in all, Max was able to help me find an affordable place in West Campus (college student at UT) and it's the best deal I've ever gotten. He also knows about all the deals and promos, as well as negotiates for you so I really am glad I chanced upon Max. His services are free of charge and in some ways we are both helping each other out (commissions, making it easy to find the best apartment deals). Thank you Max, you are awesome!”

I decided to sell my home pretty last minute to move to another country & he quickly + efficiently got the job done... meeting all my selling goals & exceeding expectations! He does market research reaching out to other agents about what homes sold for in the area to help get you the best possible price. He stays positive & optimistic while also keeping grounded. “I had the pleasure of working with Erin to find a new home, and let me tell ya, she made the whole process a breeze. After our first meeting, she immediately set up a custom search with all of the different things I was looking for in a home - she really made me feel like my needs were important! It took a few weekends to find the right place, but scheduling tour times was easy, even with the occasional conflict. While we toured properties, she was right there with me paying attention to little details: Was the thermostat painted over? Where is the laundry room? Maybe we should skip this place, it feels damp in here, might have been a recent water loss, etc. I've already referred two folks to Erin and will continue to do so, she's the best I've worked with since moving to Austin 7 years ago!”

I had worked with other realtors the previous year and this year prior to finding Max. They showed us some pretty horrific places, had poor follow-up, and were often quite disorganized. “The software behind the company is pretty cool. It just automates all the searches I was already doing, to where the leads were funneling into me. Probably not too dissimilar from any other realtor software. What really separates this realtor experience from any other realtor company, however, is Russell. He was always excited to help in any manner and was flexible around my schedule which does not go unnoticed. I could definitely tell he had my best interests at heart, and had great input. If you're debating between having a realtor and not, it is essential to have a set of trained eyes that knows what to do throughout the whole process. 10/10 would recommend.”
